ANSI/BIFMA e3-2010 Furniture Sustainability Standard
The multi-attribute, sustainability standard and third-party certification program for the furniture industry developed BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) with ANSI (American National Standards Institute) oversight.
Since day one, we’ve been doing things right for our environment and we are gathering the required documentation to show it. We intend to have all products a minimum of level™ certified this year! Check back to see our progress as we work toward this goal.
Currently, all our products are constructed to meet and/or exceed BIFMA standards for performance, durability and structural integrity.
Level™ is the premier of the e3-2010 Furniture Sustainability Standard. Level™ is the multi-attribute, third-party certification program for the furniture industry. It has been created to deliver the most open and transparent means of evaluation and communicating the environmental and social impacts of furniture products in the built environment. Taking into account a company’s social actions, energy usage, material selection and human and ecosystem health impacts, level™ addresses how a product is sustainable from multiple perspectives.
